YEMBA Houston is more than an organization; it is a family. We are dedicated to providing a support system for the Menoua diaspora in Houston, fostering educational excellence in our youth, and ensuring that our rich traditions continue to thrive in our new home.
The Yemba people originate from the Menoua division in the Western Region of Cameroon. Our culture is built on a strong foundation of profound respect for ancestors, strong communal ties, and a rich oral tradition that passes wisdom through generations.
